A little Introduction
Welcome to Microsoft Partner Days! Microsoft organize every year their "Partner Days" event. This event is a sum up of the upcoming games, now only for its console, the X-Box. And with the upcoming release of ONE (if not the 1°) of the highly anticipated games for X-Box, namely "HALO 2".
Every decent journalist from every media (magazines, online media, games tv shows) and other people from third-parties (Ubi Soft, Contact Data, Electronic Arts, Codemasters, Activision and many more).
Every game that is coming up soon from other third-party was showcased on a big screen (see screenshots) and games such as Brother in Arms from Ubi Soft definitely kept our attention.
Of course one of the main hot items was HALO 2. We got a chance to play the full game, retail and tested the multiplayer aspect of it as well (with 8 other people .. see those screenshots). HALO 2 plays great, it looks great and from what we have seen already (driving with a ghost, etc) it looks to be a christmas killer! If that wasn't enough, besides the foods & drinks, we played the new games such as need for speed underground 2, mortal kombat: deception, fifa 2005, halo 2, forza motorsport and much much more. The biggest surprise was that we, thanks to Microsoft, received a 30cm statue of the "masterchief of Halo 2". This is a limited edition and ... it looks gorgeous. I'm sure every Halo fan would like to get this but unfortunately you'll only be statisfied by these screenshots of the masterchief statue.
We had a nice evening and we would also like to thank Corine, Virginia from WeberShandwick and Luc from Microsoft for inviting us to the event. Thanks again.
Earth will never be the same - Halo 2 - out on November 10 '04
We apologize for the bad quality of some screenshots. This was due to bad lightpoints when we took the shot. Our apologies.
