Let the games begin !
We made it back safe after playing and playing for numerous hours on different games and ... yes consoles !
Besides PSP, DS, PlayStation2 (no xbox?) we also played on Nintendo's upcoming "Wii" console, the "Xbox 360" and of course on Sony's very expensive "PlayStation 3".
At 10 o'clock we arrived with the "gang" @ Flanders Expo where the only game event in Belgium, "GamePower Expo" was about to open its doors.
Unfortunately not every publisher was there, Ubisoft, Eidos, Atari and others were missing but EA, THQ, Activision, Midway, Sony, Nintendo, ... were there.
We played in the VIP room on Sony's PlayStation 3 and we all agree ... it looks absolutely stunning, but it's a very expensive console. Ridge Racer 7 looks great and so are the other 9 launch titles.
The biggest surprise of the whole event was of course Nintendo's Wii. Small, cheaper then 360 or PS3 and beautiful to look at. The games, Wii Sports (boxing, tennis, table tennis, shooting, bowling, ...) and the new Zelda: Twilight Princess game were all a joy to play!
People (even girls and parents) were having so much fun playing those Wii games. Even Excite Truck and the upcoming WarioWare game were absolutely briljant! See pictures below.
