WII-KLY EU UPDATE: NEW VC/WII/DSIWARE TITLES - SEPT 07
Fishie Fishie??

Posted by Bjorn - Admin on Sep 7, 2010 14:26 (Sep 7, 2010 14:26)

Nintendo of Europe has just updated their VC/DSi/WiiWare store with the following new titles:

Jazzy Billiards
(ARC SYSTEM GAMES, 500 Nintendo DSi Points)
Enjoy a traditional game of nine-ball pool either against a computer, or a friend, while listening to smooth jazz in Jazzy Billiards. Both opponents must hit the balls on the table in ascending order - whoever can sink the nine-ball first wins.

Jazzy Billiards features an intuitive control scheme that takes full advantage of the Nintendo DSi stylus and touch screen, simulating realistic ball strikes. Simply point the stylus in the direction of the the cue ball, aim, then use the stylus to pull back the cue stick and hit the ball. You can even control how hard you hit each ball with the stylus.

My Farm
(BiP Media, 200 Nintendo DSi Points)

In My Farm you own a desolate field, a few pennies and a hen. Feeding and caring for your hen will ensure it lays eggs, which can then be sold. With the money you get you can buy new animals at the Farmers’ Market and purchase exciting equipment from the Shopkeeper.

Little by little, as your farm builds up, you will unlock certain bonuses (wind turbines, roosters, guard dogs and tractors). You will then be able to exchange your animals with friends who also play My Farm or My Exotic Farm.

Key features include: six kinds of animals to customise, taking care of your animals, farm improvements to buy and bonuses to collect, plus the exchange of animals and products with other players.

Please note that elements of this software may have been featured in previously released software.

GO Series : 10 Second Run
(Gamebridge, 200 Nintendo DSi Points)

Run like the wind in this classic game with a unique twist. Run for your life across a challenging obstacle course – dash across platforms, avoid those tricky hazards and get to that goal – all within 10 seconds. Players can go flat out over 50 stages and three exciting game modes.

Samurai Shodown III
(D4Enterprise Ltd., Co, Neo Geo, 900 Wii Points)

This fighting game was released in 1995 as a sequel to Samurai Shodown II. Although this is the third instalment in the series, the storyline takes place between the first and second instalments. Players can choose from 12 different Samurai, each of which is tasked with defeating Zankuro Minazuki.

Along with minor upgrades from the previous version, such as the ability to increase your rage gauge and defend in midair, you can also select from a range of personalities for each character. Each Samurai has their own set of special moves which players can take advantage of, effectively doubling the amount of playable characters.

Where’s Wally?® Travel Pack 2
(Ludia, 500 Nintendo DSi Points)

Based on the hit print series, Where's Wally? The Fantastic Journey Travel Pack 2 is the ultimate search game. Based inside the magical worlds of The Nasty Nasties, The Fighting Foresters and The Deep-Sea Divers, you can challenge friends or play solo as you search for hidden items, but be ready for plenty of surprises.

FISHIE FISHIE
(DK-Games, 500 Wii Points)

FISHIE FISHIE is the only game that can be played with just one button. It may sound simple but players will experience something extraordinary that will prove to be a true test of the reflexes. The game contains a series of tutorials that teach you not only how to control your fishie, but also the various game modes.

In FISHIE FISHIE you have to eat all the time, but you also have to finish several different game modes as quickly as possible. This is a game in which every second counts. To win, you have to successfully complete over one hundred levels spread over various game modes such as, “story”, “soccer”, “capture the star”, “survival” and “skill”.

You can play solo or with up to four people, all of whom can play on the same screen. In either mode, it’s every fishie for himself.
