Howdie,

Anybody know a website where you can look for names (or lettres) and see what they look like in a different language ?

I'm more after the very special tribe signs like languages we hardly know.

I want to translate my son's name to a different language (like exemple Japanese) but more interested in special signs (like Inca and other languages).

Anybody has an idea where to look?

Cool, well it would be the name of my son "Mathis".

However, dont know how you would translate that since i probably won't be able to see them correctly? Or you should put them in an image file.

 My girlfriend says yes. But as always with these things its down to the pronunciation, if either name is pronounced differently to the Japanese phonetics I sent with them then it will be wrong. (cant do ti because there is no ti sound only chi).

Btw, anybody knows a site too where you can see lettres as symbols? like a "M" stand for a symbol (egyptian, inca, etc)

 Dont know if there were direct translation there. The symbols had meaning and didnt represent a single letter as I understand it.
