I'd have to say the ZX Spectrum (more a gaming computer than a console, but anyway), the Mega Drive and the PlayStation: all brought something new to my different stages of childhood. I remember enjoying "attempting" to make games on my Spectrum, and there was a lot of games I had fun with too, although I do remember being envious of the superior C64 (having better graphics and sound) which my older brother owned.
The Mega Drive had a fantastic library of games and certainly impressed me with its visuals, having owned an Atari 2600 and a Spectrum before it. As for the PlayStation, well it had a massive impact on my life, and I do have a special place in my heart for it!
