Re: what was your favourite childhood console?

I'd have to say the ZX Spectrum (more a gaming computer than a console, but anyway), the Mega Drive and the PlayStation: all brought something new to my different stages of childhood. I remember enjoying "attempting" to make games on my Spectrum, and there was a lot of games I had fun with too, although I do remember being envious of the superior C64 (having better graphics and sound) which my older brother owned.

The Mega Drive had a fantastic library of games and certainly impressed me with its visuals, having owned an Atari 2600 and a Spectrum before it. As for the PlayStation, well it had a massive impact on my life, and I do have a special place in my heart for it!

SNES. Had others, but the grey beast has a special place in my heart.

Absolutely positively has to be the Saturn Die Hard Arcade, Daytona USA, Sega Rally. Loved it.

Re: what was your favourite childhood console?

The Saturn was one of the only consoles i never owned although my mate had one and i played on his a few times.

Not a bad machine, but over priced on it's release and coming out around the same time as the Playstation killed it's chances of success.

Hehe, regarding Saturn , i must say that SEGA's arcade games like Daytona USA and others are much much better on the "Dreamcast".

Still got one and working ,and will hook it up again when i'm moving in a few months to a new home.

Me too.

I still have mine at home somewhere. Want to have it set up but probably won't go down too well as we already have the 360, PS3 and Wii set up to the TV downstairs
