PS Vita

Before i got to play a demo unit of the new PS Vita I will admit that i had no interest in the console but after a quick 5 minutes I have to say that I am very impressed.

I am considering trading my PSP and games towards one but whether they are worth their current price point is another matter. I also don't want to get one and then hardly play it as it could prove an expensive luxury and mean that I have wasted quite a bit of cash on it.

I tentatively mentioned how good they were to the wife last week and this was met with a head shake and foul look as if to say she wouldn't approve

Less than a month to launch so still time to decide whether to invest.... watch this space!!!

Re: PS Vita

Hehe, guess your wife is the boss there Mark ;)

You could trade/sell some older games and save that for the purchase? Your wife can't say no to that ;)

Re: PS Vita

She thinks I already have too many games systems and although she may not approve about this I will get one eventually

I have traded in several old games already and have around a third of what's needed so a bit more saving and that Vita will be mine

Re: PS Vita

Mark, any update yet on your Vita purchase?

I'm not sure yet what to do, get a Vita or save for the new Ipad.

Re: PS Vita

I know what you mean Bjorn,

Mine was a possible thing to get in the future but with the local game store having a fantastic recent deal on trade ins of old games I got shut of a load of dust gatherers (21 to be precise) and got a Vita with game, memory card and starter pack

To be honest I can't really remember more than half of the ones I traded in so I think I got a good deal....Very happy at the minute

Re: PS Vita

Yeah that's right and never had to spend a penny

Since then I've traded a few more old games and DVD's to get a couple more Vita games, a bigger memory card and some PSN credit and only had a very small amount of cash to put towards
