It's a very worrying time at the minute for PSN users after Sony have admitted that their service has been taken down due to hackers.

It has also been recommended that PSN users cancel their credit cards due to potential I.D theft...With 75 million+ users this is not good

I wonder what Sony have in place to combat this and get their service running again? Also if they are prepared to compensate PSN users with a couple of free games or a few months free Playstation Plus?

If no compensation is offered or if their service remains closed Sony could potentially lose a lot of PS3 owners over this!!

Yes almost a week or more now. Sony doesn't even know if CC information was hacked 

I thought their security was much more better ...

It's looking like PSN users will be offered compensation of 2 games from a choice of 5 and PSP owners a choice of 2 from 4 games.

No details as yet as to which games they will be or when the service will be back up and running

They are starting today with the restoration of PSN. First US, Europe, Asia etc ...
