My girlfriend doesn't mind it at all.....although the wife isn't too keen 
In all seriousnesss i think my wife tolerates it as she knows i've been a gamer since the days of the handhelds like Caveman etc. She has no interest herself and even my 3 kids are not too bothered although they occasionally play my old PS2 they have in their room.
